In Windows 7, there is a bug concerning regional settings. (date format, decimal character...)
You could try to go in configuration panel, change your regional setting to french (for example), click ok, leave the configuration panel.
Then return back into it to change back the settings to English-uk.
That could work ! (it did on another computer were a similar problem happened).
I am not sure if a restart is needed in between... you could try without, and if it does not help, with restarting.
Let me know if that helps.

Emmanuel

When a date is not taken by the software,
do the following:
1) close Waterski Scoring
2) go to "Administration panel"
3) go to "Region and language options"
4) go to "Region and language settings"
5) change your format setting - ex: "Malaysian (Malaysia)" - to "English (US)" (or just anything else)
6) click on "Apply"
7) change format again from "English (US)" to what is was before: "Malaysian (Malaysia)"
8 ) click on "Apply"
9) close everything
10) open Waterski Scoring and try again: this problem should be fixed
